President Cheryl's Message

Hi everyone

Great dinner and chat last week with a Clubrunner briefing from Jess. Thanks, Jess, always great to be reminded of this amazing resource.

The weather’s changing (ouch). As I write this I’m at home confident I will not have visitors, dressed in baggy tracky daks and sloppy joe, making a fashion statement when I walk Pirate!

Reminder - there is no meeting on the 23rd as we are going to the Drama League’s latest production. As I write this we have sold our 20 tickets but there are still a few left if you book direct.

Next week we will be hearing from our Coralie. She’s been a member for a while now but we’ve never quite managed to enjoy her introductory member presentation. No pressure Coralie!

Yours aye
Cheryl

Thanks

Concreting At Robyn Baldwin's

Last Friday afternoon Tony & Bruce (with Stephen's assistance) broke up part of an uneven concrete path (along with a piece of concrete that was badly cracked) at Robyn Baldwin's & on Saturday morning re-concreted, which included replacing the original step in the path with a gentle incline.

Upcoming HDV Event

Save the date!
We have an upcoming HDV event with a slight difference! We will be operating the HDV along with a BBQ for the Aspect Trust Fundraising Tug of War event.

The event will be held at the Morgans Road Indoor Stadium, Saturday 26th August (during the evening) and we will be the food vendor where ticket holders can redeem their tickets for some snacks from us, as well as selling food if they are still hungry!

Details and times etc will be finalised closer to the time but I will be looking for both BBQ people and HDV workers for the event.  The roster has been updated on the website so you can add your name if you are free on the evening (by clicking here...).
Let me know if you have any issues getting into the roster.

Many Thanks
Jess

Information Required

Remember this is "your" bulletin and so please email information to me on what your committee is doing (or planning) so everyone can be aware of it.
Lack of the above will mean the bulletin is not advising the members of what is happening in the club & particapation will be down.
Stephen
