President Cheryl's Message

Hi everyone

Great natter was had by all last Tuesday evening. Natasha advised of her resignation from Rotary. A lot on her plate at the moment and something had to give. She will join us when she can on some of our activities. We wish her well as she gets all her ducks in a row so to speak.

Next week “our Tony” will be speaking on his Melbourne adventures and Rotary conference. I gather it was a very successful conference. It will be my last meeting before holidaying in California for two weeks. Thank you Lynette for filling in for me.

See you Tuesday

Yours aye
Cheryl

Last opportunity to volunteer to collect at New World on Friday 16th June. Four of us are doing 2hrs each. Would be great to break that up a bit.
Added bonus - it’s beside the coffee machine and you can do your shopping afterwards.
Call me if you can help, even for 30 mins, preferably an hour.

Thanks

XTRA Email Users

Welcome back to all bulletin recipients who have an 'XTRA" email address.
Since the 5th of May Spark NZ has been blocking the bulletin (and any other emails I have tried to send you) from being received - as believed it may be SPAM.
Last week it was finally unblocked by Spark (& you should all have received the bulletin dated 6th June).
If you wish to view the missed bulletins (i.e. 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th May) you can click here for a link.
If (in the future) you fail to receive a bulletin you can simply type 'Timaru Rotary Bulletin' into your browser (and you will be taken straight to the above page).

Upcoming HDV Event

Save the date!
We have an upcoming HDV event with a slight difference! We will be operating the HDV along with a BBQ for the Aspect Trust Fundraising Tug of War event.

The event will be held at the Morgans Road Indoor Stadium, Saturday 26th August (during the evening) and we will be the food vendor where ticket holders can redeem their tickets for some snacks from us, as well as selling food if they are still hungry!

Details and times etc will be finalised closer to the time but I will be looking for both BBQ people and HDV workers for the event.  The roster has been updated on the website so you can add your name if you are free on the evening (by clicking here...).
Let me know if you have any issues getting into the roster.

Many Thanks
Jess

Information Required

Remember this is "your" bulletin and so please email information to me on what your committee is doing (or planning) so everyone can be aware of it.
Lack of the above will mean the bulletin is not advising the members of what is happening in the club & particapation will be down.
Stephen
