President Cheryl's Message

Hi everyone

Always great to hear from our members about themselves.  Thanks Coralie for providing us with some insights into some of your “motherhood”challenges with a touch of humour thrown in.  Looking forward to your next chat which is history based about the General Grant.  We love a good history story.

Don’t forget we have no meeting next week.  We’re off to the theatre.

Have a good week
Stay warm

Yours aye
Cheryl

ROTARY ZONE 8
REGIONALISATION PROJECT
:

What are we trying to achieve through the Regionalisation Pilot?

The aim of the Regionalisation Pilot is to develop a new regional governance structure to transform Rotary and Rotaract in Zone 8, helping clubs strengthen and grow with more intensive and specialised support that addresses their unique needs. We anticipate the direct benefits to clubs will include:
  • A stronger, unified Rotary image and brand
  • Greater opportunities for collaboration and partnerships
  • Greater efficiency, reduced duplication and reduced costs
  • Greater capacity for clubs to adapt to meet the specific needs, circumstances and cultural aspects of their geographic area
  • More direct access to the best resources from across Zone 8 to support clubs to achieve their goals

Upcoming HDV Event

Save the date!
We have an upcoming HDV event with a slight difference! We will be operating the HDV along with a BBQ for the Aspect Trust Fundraising Tug of War event.

The event will be held at the Morgans Road Indoor Stadium, Saturday 26th August (during the evening) and we will be the food vendor where ticket holders can redeem their tickets for some snacks from us, as well as selling food if they are still hungry!

Details and times etc will be finalised closer to the time but I will be looking for both BBQ people and HDV workers for the event.  The roster has been updated on the website so you can add your name if you are free on the evening (by clicking here...).
Let me know if you have any issues getting into the roster.

Many Thanks
Jess

Information Required

Remember this is "your" bulletin and so please email information to me on what your committee is doing (or planning) so everyone can be aware of it.
Lack of the above will mean the bulletin is not advising the members of what is happening in the club & particapation will be down.
Stephen
