 President Lynette's Message

Hi everyone,

Last Tuesday, members participated in a review of ideas and project possibilities presented by Jenette Borrell when she spoke to our club late last year, along with some strategic planning, with a focus on “Retention”. The results of our collaborative thoughts and discussion will be collated and re-addressed at our next club forum in March. We were given the task to email any ideas we may have, to Mike Parr. Thank you, Mike Parr and Jenny Ensor, for leading the evening, it was very thought-provoking.

There is no meeting this coming week, but several members will be attending our “Theatre evening” -“Inspector Drake and The Perfekt Crime”, at the Little Theatre, on Tuesday 5th March. Tickets are $20. Tony Henderson is organizing this, and if you wish to join us, there are still 4 x tickets available – don't hesitate to get in touch with Tony.

Editors Humour

The machine at the coin factory just suddenly stopped working, with no explanation.
It doesn't make any cents!

I was going to make myself a belt made out of watches,
but then I realized it would be a waist of time.

Did you hear about the auto body shop that just opened?
It comes highly wreck-a-mended.

I'm only friends with 25 letters of the alphabet.
I don't know Y.

Two windmills are standing in a wind farm. One asks, "What's your favourite kind of music?"
The other says, "I'm a big metal fan."
