I trust this finds you all well-rested and ready to take on everything 2024 has in store for us. In reality, you may well have been entertaining family and friends and making wonderful memories together, maybe spending time at the lakes etc, making the most of the “good weather” days, and now looking forward to a quieter pace as school starts to go back. We have certainly enjoyed both, and especially showing off our new CPlay playground to family and friends as they visited.
Also, a fabulous highlight was attending a celebration of Jess Hewitson and Jarard Wooffindin a couple of weekends ago, who surprised everyone with a wedding announcement. Congratulations Jess & Woof.
Speaking of weddings, Lionel, Lynette, and Bruce Borrell towed the Hot Dog van out to Woodbury on Friday and set it up in preparation for “supper service” later that evening, we recommend the coffee at the Woodbury Café also, just a lovely wee drive out from town if you are looking for a destination.Jess, Lionel & Lynette returned later in the evening and served up hot dogs and chips for a very appreciative guest list, a fun night and great to be part of.
I am aware some of our members, unfortunately, had to deal with COVID over Xmas, I hope your recovery has been quick.
January has been a big month for those of our members celebrating significant milestone birthdays, Congratulations to John Barton, Stephen Don, and Jess Hewitson.
Jess and Julie have been busy over the break also, raising extra funds for the resources they will take with them on their trip to Nepal which will take place in March 2024.If anyone wishes to contribute, please contact Jess.
Welcome Back!!
Looking forward to catching up with you all again this week at the BBQ.

No humour this week, just some gossip!
Jarrad and I finally got around to tying the knot! We had a small ceremony in our garden on the 5th of January with our immediate family
I will change my last name to Wooffindin, but I won't worry about it until I return from Nepal.
