President Andrea's Message .
As I finish off helping Kelsie with her preparations for the Christmas Parade I'm reminded how much of a busy weekend we have ahead of us. I'll say it again it amazes me how many of our members give up so much of their personal time for our community.
You are all to be congratulated, and should feel a great sense of pride watching every volunteer this weekend.
On Tuesday we said "See you again soon" to Sarah Davis.
A wonderful lady who brought so much to our club. Her ideas for the youth were tremendous and her home Rotary Club will enjoy having her back again.
I went to visit the wood chopping team on Saturday. I really love seeing the smiles on the team as they work hard. The fellowship on those days is wonderful. Another great project.
The By Laws are looking great.
Don't forget to read them and ask all the questions you have from anyone on the committee. It's important that you understand them as it's "your club" and represent the views off the whole club.
Christmas is fast approaching. Are you all sorting out your best Xmas Hat for the Xmas party on the 11th. Mines nearly finished just a few more bits to add to it.

District 9980 Cromwell Car Rally & Fun (Track) Day
The last participants preparing to leave Timaru (I understand they chose to be last as they were in the fastest car!!) & joining some at a refresh stop on the way to Cromwell on Saturday.
A Riddle To Solve.
The answer to last weeks riddle:-
The horse just walks over to it, taking the chain with him - the chain is not attached to anything!
The word "what" is spelled with four letters (w, h, a, and t). The word "sometimes" is spelled with 9 letters (s,o,m,e,t,i,m,e, and s) etc.

Toot For Tucker 19th November
The Timaru Lions Clubs are again coordinating the "Toot For Tucker" food collection on Monday 19th November from 5.30 p.m. (in time for Christmas) and are again asking for volunteers to help. It is suggested that there be 2-3 collectors per tooting vehicle. Anyone who can help (or wants more information) please contact Lionel by Tuesday 6th November.
