President Cheryl's Message.
Hi everyone
Thank you to Carolyn Cooper, the CEO of Presbyterian Support for your enlightening information on Presbyterian Support Services. The concept of the Eden Alternative, the cultural service delivery model they operate is inspirational and very practical. If you want to know more, just google, or go to the PSS website. Essentially it’s that the residence is the private home of every resident and therefore the residents provide input into meals, staffing, activities, entertainment etc.
Next week’s speaker, yet to be confirmed, is speaking on our Town Library and the wonders within. I’m guilty of not using this wonderful facility enough so I’m looking forward to learning more.
Great to see so many on zoom last week. Apologies for not manning the chat and questions. I’ve asked them of Carolyn and will put them below in a separate article.
See you all next week
Yours aye Cheryl

The residences managed by Presbyterian Support provide a number of activities including music, craft, field trips, gardening, and gentle sports. The residents' have a monthly meeting where they plan their activities for the next month so this list is not all they do, depends on the residents' interests.
The frozen food packages prepared and sold by the Croft are either picked up by customers at their reception or they organise for one of the food delivery companies to deliver to the home on behalf of the customer. They are not delivered by volunteers.
If there are any other questions let me know, and I will email them to Carolyn.

School Dictionary Delivery.
Gilly recently delivered this year's dictionaries to Albury School.
Remember this is "your" bulletin and so please email information to me on what your committee is doing (or planning) so everyone can be aware of it.
Lack of the above will mean the bulletin is not advising the members of what is happening in the club & particapation will be down.

Editors Humour.
Apartment life often means little privacy. Max realized that one day when his kitten was running around his bedroom, climbing onto shelves and into the dresser as he was getting ready for work. he finally exploded at the kitten: “You’d better sit down; you’re getting on my nerves!”
A second later, a voice from upstairs responded, “OK!”

A woman's three-year-old son asked his mother whether his younger brother used to be in her stomach. “Yes,” she said. “How did he get there?” he asked. “I’ll tell you when you’re a little older.” “Just tell me this,” he said, concerned. “Did you eat him?”

A husband and wife were dining at a 5-star restaurant. When their food arrived, the husband said: "Our food has arrived! Let's eat!" His wife reminded him: "Honey, you always say your prayers at home before your dinner!" Her husband replied: "That's at home, my dear. Here the chef knows how to cook..."
