EDITORS HUMOUR

On my winter holiday while checking into my room I over heard a group of people bragging to another group that each member of their team beat the Grandmaster the previous week.

They were Chess Nuts Boasting in an Open Foyer

 President Andrea’s Bulletin Blurb

Another couple of busy weekends for our Rotary club has been has.

With the foundations put down for the Jack Point seats. What looked like a cold day soon become a blessing as the holes were dug and the concrete hand mixed? Lots of hard work and fun ending in the usual cuppa and chat afterwards. So many great comments from the public passing by too.

The Hotdog caravan is at the Rugby finals this weekend and it looks like it will be another great day. How good does the caravan look. Branded Kiwi has done us proud, and I have to agree with Jess it must be Christmas for the people at Branded Kiwi to not charge us is fantastic. Please remember them if you need any signage done.

Don’t forget the Bylaws group are busy getting started on looking at the Bylaws and seeing if we need any changes made

Also get voting for the People’s Choice Award for the Timaru Christmas Parade Trust. Let all your family and friends know. The more votes they get the better the chance to win this award. Here is the link : People's Choice Award - South Canterbury Regional Website

Thank you everyone for your input at the last meeting, it was so good to hear everyone have their say.

See you all on Tuesday.

Andrea Lord - Club President

We are now on the

new NOVA version

I must admit it was quite strange to edit this bulletin today having some things the same but others totally different. Personally I like the new vertical menu rather than the old horizontal strip. What are your thoughts?
