President Andrea's Message .
Well we are getting back on track.
Schools going back, most people back at work.
And our year is beginning.
Where do you want our club to go?
What would you like to do?
Who can we help in Timaru and beyond?
When can we get started on your great ideas?
How can we make it happen?
Let's get moving. Bring your thoughts along on Tuesday night. Let's have a fun night sharing ideas. Looking for things to do. Find ways to attach more people to help us.
I'm looking forward to listening to your ideas.
No idea is to silly or unimportant. We all have a voice and each voice should be heard.
Remember from a small seed a great tree can grow.
P.S. if you don't want to voice your idea I will. I'm more than happy to bring every idea to the floor.

Claremont Castle Garden Party.
Our club has been approached by Ron from Claremont Castle to provide some volunteers to help with the "Claremont Garden Party" event on Saturday 9th February.
The event is being held to recreate an old tradition on the property going back decades with plenty of stalls, food, games for the kids, tours though the venue and musical entertainment, a great family day out!
All money raised will be going to Make A Wish, recipient being a local child/children to benefit.
We are needing a crew to help with car park ushering, gate collections, ensuring there are no stiletto heals in the upstairs rooms during the house tours, helping with activities etc. Rob is also encouraging us to have a 'Rotary Stall' to promote our Club (we do have the District pop up tent which could be set up with information flyers etc).
The event has a Facebook page " Claremont Garden Party" if you wanted to have a look.
Open to the public 11am-6pm. We would need our volunteers from 10.15am - 5.30pm/6pm
Could you please get in touch with Jess if you or your partners would be available on the day, Saturday 9th February. If it's not the full day, any part of the day would be a huge help.
Thanks
Jess
