Thought for the week
I'd rather regret the things I've done, than regret the things I haven't done.- Lucille Ball
THANK YOU KING STREET MOTORS
Thanks to King Street Motors for carrying out a Warrant of Fitness inspection of the Hot Dog Caravan at no cost to the Club, and then carrying out some maintenance work, again at no cost to the Club. What great support of our efforts for the community.
Members might like to return the favour by supporting King Street Motors; you'll find them at 143 King Street.

President Bev's Message.
Greetings,
It was wonderful to meet Rose Forrester in person. She was the face of our Club’s Skype meeting we had with the team in Antarctica a few years ago.
Rose is a Paramedic and felt that she needed a challenge in 2016 so applied for a position to lead a team of Paramedics in Antarctica for 13 months.
She spent the first 2 weeks of her training in Woolston training with the Fire Department to learn how to fight fires in a very dry climate. Rose mentioned it is so dry that when you wash your clothes and then hang them in the wardrobe they will take 2 hours to dry and a glass of water takes a week to evaporate!
