Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the 23rd of June and the Charitable Trust Annual Meeting (AM) will be on the 21stof June.
Final Reports for all committees will be needed to the club Secretary by Sunday 31st of May, so close, and the final Report cupboard is bare!!
The Charitable Trust will need nominations for three (3) Trustees, as Chris Visagie has gone to Vietnam and will not be here for his 3rd year.
Nomination forms will be available from Lynette Wilson our club Secretary.
Greg Sugrue and Robin Peterson will complete their third year this year. However, they are available for re nomination.
Our last meeting:
We inducted Margaret and Ralph Burrell.
Our speakers were Shaun Campbell and Kirstie Burnett speaking on the Modifications and Funding of the stadium, this will be a benefit to Netball and other sports as well.
Next meeting night next Tuesday 26th of May
Phillip Howe on the new Heritage centre construction and storage matters.
We will also have a visit from Rotarians from the Ashburton Rotary club in attendance.
Chair for the evening will be Mike Parr.
Jenny Ensor is putting together the visit to the Coptic Church (The old Chalmers Church)

John Rushton is working on the best way to get them concreted and placed for use!
We are looking for suggestions for possible Speakers at our meetings in 2026/2027 year, suggestions to Secretary Lynette, or incoming President Andrea Lord.
I have been advised by Denise Johnston that Dick has returned from Christchurch Hospital.
Denise advises
“We are just taking one day at a time as it will be a long haul with getting the huge wound packed 3 times a week
But he is feeling better in himself every day.”

26th of May - (Ashburton Club Visit to us) Phillip Howe, SC Museum, will be our guest speaker.
3rd of June – Visit to the Coptic Church – followed by a meal at Evie’s next door. You need to book in with Jenny Ensor regarding the meal.
9th of June – Tim Exton – Past DOC ranger – Update on the AI Camera’s and an update on developments regarding predators in the Timaru area.
23rd of June - Club AGM and update on our club Action Plan.
30th of June - Club Changeover – Timaru Town and Country club – Time and theme to be advised.
