Thanks to King Street Motors for carrying out a Warrant of Fitness inspection of the Hot Dog Caravan at no cost to the Club, and then carrying out some maintenance work, again at no cost to the Club. What great support of our efforts for the community.

President Bev's Message.
Greetings,
We were warmly welcomed on our return to the Timaru Town and Country Club for our first face to face meeting in 10 weeks.
It was good to see all the familiar faces again. It is amazing to think that because of the pandemic we hunkered down to keep ourselves safe and have come out the other side grateful and appreciative of what we have and what we can do if we have to. I enjoyed my lockdown days and will do what is necessary to prevent a second wave of the pandemic.
It was not easy for some of our members though. Our thoughts go out to Hugh and Margaret, Emma and Andy also Shirley and John and their families.
Some shared interesting memories – the telephone was mostly answered, difficult intersections were easy to negotiate during Level 4, the variety of sugars and sweeteners in the grocery store and the large numbers of walkers and cyclists. Thankfully we had, for the most part, warm and sunny weather which delivered a beautiful autumn.
Next week is our AGM, part 2. Please consider and nominate a member for the Charitable Trust. We will be taking nominations from the floor.
Enjoy your weekend and see you next week.
Stay warm and safe,
Bev
