President Jess's Message.
Kia orana kotou (Hello in the Cook Islands)
I'm so proud of our efforts last week at our ShelterBox quiz at The Bay Hill. It was a fun night and were well supported by everyone involved. We raised $2016 from our entry fees, auction and raffles and we also sold $280 worth of the ShelterBox Solar Lights.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped me out on the night and donated prizes. Huge shout out to Lisa and Roger from The Bay Hill for hosting us and supplying the winners prize. Click for more information & some photos of the night.

When doing Host Duties (i.e. Duty Roster), please remember that you set tables, raffles etc up for the night.
Then at the end of the meeting you need to pack up again and return table numbers etc. into the box and put away.
The large sign outside door must also be packed away (this part isn't always been done).
It then falls to those leaving last.
RAFFLE PRIZES
For this Rotary year, President Jess would like members to take turns at providing the raffle prize (no alcohol please), either by buying a prize to the value of $10 to $15 (keep the receipt and ask Treasurer Jenny for reimbursement using the claims form click here...) or maybe you have a suitable prize you'd like to donate.
To make it simple to keep track of whose turn it is, the person on Host Duty 2 will be asked to provide the raffle prize for the week.
When it's your turn to provide the prize:
Please put the prize on the Host table no later than 5:30 pm.
Make sure there's a raffle sheet (from the host bin) and a pen on the table.
If you are unable to attend Rotary, and you are unable to find someone to swap, please contact Robyn Baldwin so she can arrange cover for the night.
Rotary R100 Number Plate Surrounds.
A fantastic way to celebrate Rotary's 100 year Centennial Celebrations.
At just $15 per set (plus freight), you could get one for your car, truck, van, caravan or tractor! They are super easy to install.
As the freight if ordered individually would increase the cost by $15.00 - $20.00 members wishing to place an order please email Stephen @ srdon000@outlook.comby Sunday 16th May and I will collate the orders (and spread the freight cost between all orders).
