President Andrea's Message .
What a wild weather week from tornados to rain lots and lots of rain.
I've always wondered what happened to my samples when they have been taken by the vampire clinic.
Now I have a much better idea. It also helped explain why we have to wait so long in A&E for answers some days. In actual fact it's a short time. Thank you Judy for telling us all about your job it was both interesting and informative.
Another week closer to Santa's Visit.
Hope everyone is still on the good list. I'm sure Sargent Anne will find out if we are not.
Now to find the flippers so I can go mow my under lake lawn.

Oh, I'm so mad... 😡 Sorry, but I need to vent!!!
I experienced the WORST customer service today at a store in town. I don't want to mention the name because I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed. Tuesday evening I bought something from this store and paid cash for it. I took it home but found it didn't work. So today, less than 24 hours later, I returned it and asked for a refund. The girl at the store told me "NO" even though I had my receipt. I then asked if I could get a replacement instead. She still told me "NO"! So not getting anywhere with her, I asked to speak to the manager and explained to her that I had purchased the item but it didn't work and produced my receipt. The manager just smiled and told me to my face that I was "out of luck " no refund! No replacement!
Well, I tell you what... I am NEVER buying a lottery ticket at that store again!!!
Trick or Treat Family Fun Day.
Anne & Stephen assisted with security on Sunday for the Plunket Trick or Treat Family Funday on the bay between 11 & 4.
A Riddle To Solve.
The answer to last weeks riddle:-
He's washing windows inside the building.
The word "what" is spelled with four letters (w, h, a, and t). The word "sometimes" is spelled with 9 letters (s,o,m,e,t,i,m,e, and s) etc.
Thinking caps on again and try to solve this weeks riddle:-
A horse attached to a 24-foot chain sees an apple 26 feet away. How can the horse reach the apple?

Toot For Tucker 19th November
The Timaru Lions Clubs are again coordinating the "Toot For Tucker" food collection on Monday 19th November from 5.30 p.m. (in time for Christmas) and are again asking for volunteers to help. It is suggested that there be 2-3 collectors per tooting vehicle. Anyone who can help (or wants more information) please contact Lionel by Tuesday 6th November.
