Last Tuesday, it was refreshing to hear from students Georgia Coles and Tara O’Brien, as they shared with us their experiences whilst attending the National Science and Technology Forum in Auckland during January this year. Georgia also shared the wonderful news that she has been chosen from the participants at the Forum, to attend the London equivalent later in the year., a fantastic achievement. Georgia & Tara are two of the four students our Charitable Trust selected to attend this year; such was the calibre of the applicants.
At the Club Board meeting which followed, the applications for membership of the club by Gilly Oppenheim & Robyn Peterson were ratified. Both Gilly and Robyn are past very active members of our club, and we will welcome them back officially at our next meeting. Robyn is currently a member of our Charitable Trust.

Editors Humour
6:30 is the best time on a clock… hands down.
I had to clean out my spice rack and found everything was too old and had to be thrown out.
What a waste of thyme.
The security guard came up to a large mob of people outside a department store and asked, “What’s happening?”
A mall officer replied, “These people are waiting to get the new Barbie doll.”
The security guard shook his head and muttered, “Who can resist a Barbie queue?”
What do you call a laughing motorcycle?
A Yamahahaha.
A friend of mine tried to annoy me with bird puns, but I soon realized that toucan play at that game.
