Tuesday's meeting was really interesting.
To see the development of the Harbour, how it happened in a time of no OSH regulations. Those men really worked hard to create the harbour.
Today it has become a very busy port with increasing ship movements both in and out of it.
The changes to the port since have been huge.
On Thursday I visited Waimate for their change over.
The night was filled with lots of laughter. We got to see Gary Dennison receive a 7 Sapphire Paul Harris Award for his contribution to Rotary. An amazing effort.
I was very impressed with the amount of activities and projects the club had undertaken in the year. Congratulations to Dylan for a very successful year and good luck to Ryan, I hope your year is even better.
I'm off to pack a bag to go to Dunedin to catch up with other Presidents for this year and also attend the District Change Over.
Yes and walk a couple or 6 beach's.
Have a fun week
Andrea.
